Intercultural Tea(ching)-Coaching

Target audience or group

Expatriates and Inpatriates, as well as family members, who live and work in a new cultural environment.

Goal

We develop career and personal goals together during the foreign residence and develop strategies to overcome “Culture shocks”. Furthermore we sound out possibilities that are actively demanded in the new surroundings and consciously use the intercultural experience.

Method

Training and coaching methods are implemented during these activities, which are individualized to the needs of the participants.

The focus is on personalized accompaniment during goal orientation and implementation of necessary activities during the period abroad.

Possible Contents:

  • Introduction to intercultural communication
  • Important data and facts about the country and its inhabitants
  • Understanding of value systems and thereby acquiring insight into thinking processes and behavior
  • Differences in communication
  • Analysis of the business and corporate culture by means of specific situations and methods - for example using; case studies, videos etc.
  • Handling conflicts
  • Practical information and tips for working and settling down in the new region
  • Setting up and development of one or more goals
  • Establishing the first steps necessary for achievement of objectives
  • Setting up resources
  • Setting up potential
